We started Emerald Sun with a mission to produce the cleanest, true-to-plant experience possible across all of our products using sungrown inputs and chemical-free extraction (aka solventless hash and rosin).
Our team has passionately renovated this iconic regionally brewery into what we believe it was truly made for - a hash making powerhouse.
Located in the heart of Cannabis Country, Mendocino County, here is where we process, formulate and innovate.
Solventless Foundation
Hash is the center of our production process and the foundation of our solventless program. We specialize in several finishing forms of raw material, from classic ice water bubble hash for flower smokers, fresh cold-cured live rosin pressed-to-order for our dabbing crowd, and our international favorite the beautiful pressed hash temple ball to honor centuries of hand-press hash making artistry.
These raw forms of hash also serve as the active ingredient for all of our non-inhalable products. We have spent years perfectly hash and rosin infusion techniques to dose everything from tried-and-true gummies to novel award-winning edible products like our hash popcorn.
Made to Wash
High quality resin begins on the farm and finishes in the wash, so we ensure the best possible conditions from start to finish. We process in ultra-cold conditions and store one of our most important ingredients, pure clean water, at near freezing-temperatures on site at all times.
Our wash rooms are chilled to 42 degrees for the best possible conditions to knock trichomes from the plant material and ensure the best possible yield. Our tanks utilize the original glycol system from the brewery so we get to enjoy additional chilling via our in-house jacketed tanks.
Lastly we store all of our finished hash in walk-in coolers to preserve every vintage of hash before packaging, infusion, or pressing into rosin.
